DATAlife travels to Thessaloniki, Greece, to attend the Synergy days 2023, an event focused on discussion and knowledge sharing around the Digital Agriculture organized by SmartAgriHubs from October 4 to 5.

This meeting marks the end of SmartAgriHubs, a Horizon 2020 project that ran from 2018 to 2021. It aimed to support a network of agricultural innovation hubs that managed to bring together 164 partners from the agri-food sector and 149 Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs). Currently, it has more than 3200 active users on the Innovation Portal, with more than 300 DIHs.

A total of 25 European Union (EU) projects, focused on the role of digital in the agri-food sector, are participating in this conference. These will introduce attendees to both methods to address climate change and a wide range of innovative solutions.
